"Professional, knowledgeable, dependable. I highly recommend. I think it would be great if they installed a quantum computer at the Palo Alto VA to help the staff and patients. Semper Fi."

"The medical equipment may not be the best as the VA lacks the funding of nearby hospitals but the quality of care by attendants is stellar and that is everything.Thank goodness our veterans have access to the best care in the Bay Area."

"This is by far the best VA Campus I have ever been in. The Defenders Lodge was also better than most 5 star hotels I have been in. The staff was courteous & professional. I look to staying here again in the future."

"This hospital has saved my life several times over in the past 20 years. I’ve had two heart surgeries, a AAA repair and a couple of bout’s of internal bleeding, infections, etc. My gratitude for the all the great staff and professionalism. Thank you for caring for me when I couldn’t do it myself and being my extended family."

"The Social worker not friendly, called the VA Police on me when I was doing nothing wrong. All she did is go by the notes that other VA put in their notes, I was diagnosed with bronchitis and not feeling good but they made me leave threatening that they would have my vehicle towed with my pet in it and my trailer while the police were cursing at me the VA Police because I don't move that fast cuz I got hurt in boot camp serving this country Thank you. The patient advocate was not helpful at all either.I guess because I'm part Hispanic and American Indians in German and French. They just don't know who I know. So if you're sick go to a regular hospital use Medicaid or Medicare. They do not like traveling veterans like myself. They wouldn't let me get a coffee from the vending machines which are privately owned charge quite a bit. Very big complex. The commissary crew was very polite and courteous, the janitorial staff kept the place very clean. Lot of plants no gardens no fruit trees. No food offered other than a microwaved meal. Ho ho ho Merry Christmas. God doesn't like ugly. Sorry I tell it like it is. Generally I get along with the VA officers usually sergeants and above in rank. I still thank them for keeping us veterans safe. While trying to get healthcare. No funds available either or showers. Their phone system gave me flashbacks of 1992 when I first started the go to the VA hospital after I got out of the service."
