"Got there at 1:20pm got out at 4:30 a little bit of a wait..But if you want to be cared for then care takes time,my wife has be to 3 different doctors about pain in her back and her stomach and they all told her the same thing it was just a bad stomach ache your fine, but finally we got to answer today because they listened to what my wife had to say, and went the extra mile. Thank you. PS The staff was awesome from the security guard to the janitor...."

"Never had any issues here, staff is always friendly. Triage may affect wait times which is an unfortunate side effect as it is an emergency room. Your emergency may not compare to someone else's. My care has always been excellent."

"I went in tonight for a small hernia behind the belly button tear. And I just want to say that your staff is amazing. "AWESOME, I came into the emergency department and was seen and they were friendly and took care of me very fast. Even down to the security lady guard that was there. Fast and knowledgeable. "We just got out of this ED with my 2 year old for an allergic reaction. The children’s waiting area was very clean and the front staff were kind. They took care of her immediately- no wait at all and Kim the nurse and the doctor were fantastic. We’re so grateful! 🙏🏼"

"I just left the E.R. here and my experience with the nurse was one of the worse experience ever. Did not care very rude in front of my kids. It was like nobody wanted to work today but the Doctor and the Patient access lady and everyone was against kids being there. I used the call out button to ask if the doctor if I could have something that would stop my statica nerve from hurting that was stronger then what he was originally going to give because I didnt have a License driver With me. I was told by Respiratory (who answered the call bell button)they will let the doctor know. The reason being is because With 7 kids 16 being the oldest and a 16 month old being the youngest I would hope that I would be able to get some type if Relief so I could walk until my Prescription is ready. The message was never sent back and when The nurse comes and give me whatever medicine I asked what it was and will it stop the painHis exact words was "I dont know what this will do for you". After explaining that I ask for the doc to give me something stronger and the reason and also let him know that I worked there as well and that his attitude is not okay he then says I don't order the meds And that he will get the Doctor. I never see the Doctor again and my daughter jusjust took me out and my father follow us home. So not only did I not get great service, still in pain but family came for no reason. Very unhappy."

"Absolutely excellent care. I recently called and spoke with a nurse early in the morning for an ER pre-screening to determine whether I could wait for urgent care to open. After the nurse spoke with the doctor, I was advised to come to the ER. Check-in was a breeze. The care was excellent. I had a breathing treatment and chest x-rays during my visit and was in and out in 90 minutes total. So pleased with my whole experience during a time when I was feeling so ill."

"I was seen within 25 min, the previous week I had to visit the Novant ER in Huntersville and had the worst experience for an ER ever. during my 14 hours wait in the waiting room they had 16 people sign out AMA. This made me appreciate the wait time of 20 min at the Atrium ER. and after seeing the doctor with little to no wait time, I loved it very much. I will never go to the Novant ER with Atrium ER's, I enjoyed the Nurse and the support staff along with the Doctor they were very professional and were the 1st to help me with my problem!!!! :)"

"Every time, I go there I have a great experience. This time the staff was rude at Concord North East, and I hate to give a bad review because of a few rotten apples. The rotten apples definitely need to be touch, because they were extremely rude. Kyong and Dandy were two of the nurses that was rude, their is a couple more I’m working on getting their names. I know one was a black lady who wore something red around her head. She had a nerve to say where they do that at, yelling down the hall. The nerve of her. Yeah, I won’t let them ruin my experience with Atrium. I pray that more people report them and that whoever manages them check them. Other than that I normally have a good experience."

"I just wanted to say I went to the er last night/this morning and was greated by Dr Hodapp and my nurse Taylor! I just want to say a huge shoutout to all of you for taking extra great care of me! I have had some less than reputable er visits, but this definitely shows that they care! They didn’t stop looking until they found out what was causing my pain! Thanks so much again!!! Will definitely come back again if I need it!"

"My experience at physician office on sam furr rd Dr Jeffrey Berger. Office staff and physicians are friendly compassionate, and professional. Have always addressed my concerns in person or on the phone with knowledge and compassion. Have always been given an appointment or have always been able to fit me in the same day when sick in person or a virtual appointment.A wonderful experience . Would highly recommend to anyone if you value being treated like you are the most important patient at the time you are in the office or on the phone 👍"

"We had to get blood drawn 3 times, now, per CMC Heart Specialist orders. Temperature checks are no longer required before entry (compared to 3 months ago), but other Covid-19 protections are in place including 6-foot waiting stickers and widely-spaced seating. Staff were friendly and professional."

"Had gallbladder issues while waiting to be sent to University hospital in Charlotte I had to spend a day and a half in Huntersville emergency room they where so so good to meWould bring me drinks and food made sure was I was OK and happy they where truly amazing"

"Atrium Health in Huntersville is one of the best health care providers that I have ever had. The doctors, physicians' assistants, admin, and nurses are on top of the latest research and medications. The front desk staff is very welcoming and they stay cool under pressure.Dr. Joseph Davis is my primary care physician and I could not ask for a more knowledgeable, caring, responsive doctor. He is amazing and I have him, in part, to thank for my now excellent health.The phlebotomists in the lab are very competent clinically and genuinely nice people.I would give Atrium Health 6 stars if it was an option. They very best of the best."

"Received excellent care. We arrived here on a Thursday a day after being seen (and unhappy with the results) at another urgent care and what an amazing difference. We walked in, seen within 30 to an hour and the staff was amazingly sweet to our daughter. They even gave her a care package so that she could feel good about cleaning her injury and not scared. We will definitely be going back if and when needed. 5 stars"

"All the times I’ve been here the nurses and drs are great, but I recently went in for chest pain and shortness of breath due to having Covid. I also suffer from Postpartum Anxiety. When I was in the room I asked the nurse if I could have a dose of Ativan to help calm me down cause I was scared. I’m prescribed it, but didn’t have it with me cause I rushed out the house. The nurse told me “she’ll have to ask the dr” when the dr came in to tell me all my tests look normal he said, very rudely “If you’re looking for Ativan I’m not writing you a prescription for it.” I was in shock. If he looked at my chart he would see that I’m prescribed it. I wasn’t looking for a prescription, I was looking for help in that moment when it felt like I couldn’t breathe and my anxiety was making it worse. PANIC ATTACKS ARE A REAL THING! I was sick and scared, yet he made me feel like I was in there looking for “drugs” other than this incident this ER is okay."

"I'm giving two stars mainly for the follow up that was received and the cleanliness of comfort of the room. This experience last week was horrible. I went to the ED for lower abdominal pain. I waited an hour in the waiting room as the first person of three people. I was told the back had 11 beds that were all full. After being taken to the back by R-T Will, who was fabulous, I was met by the nurse, Sarah, who was not fabulous. Basically, for the next four hours, I was forgotten until my husband asked for a bucket in case I vomited. Sarah, the nurse, came in, asking if my medicine had kicked in...when I had not seen her in four hours AND I was never given medicine. She asked if I was still in pain and contacted Dr. Cavanough, who had yet to see me (he apparently had been in a routine surgery). Nurse Sarah came back into my room with morphine as prescribed by the doctor which I had stated was an allergy and that is also in my chart. She proceeded to ask if I had even told her that, which my husband and I both agreed we not only had but it was in my chart, as my primary care physician is Atrium-based. Nurse Sarah became upset with me for questioning this and raised her voice at me. Soon after, Dr. Cavanough came in and introduced himself. He was flippant and I honestly felt he was questioning my allergy, although he never looked at my chart. I had great experiences with the nurses who did my ultrasound and CT scan and I felt they were compassionate and knowledgeable. I did make complaints about both my doctor and nurse and I wish I had read these reviews before going to this ED. Never again."

"I’ve had shortness of breath for about a week so I decided I needed to come to the emergency room.My nurse was amazing. I think her name was Sarah. My Dr. was kind and had so much information for me to assure me everything would be fine. The woman that came and got me for my. X-ray was so sweet so personable. I don’t think I’ve ever had such a pleasant ER visit."

"Visited the ER yesterday. It was just before 8pm. PAR was very professional, took me through immediately. Staff was great, no complaints. After about 90 mins i was good to go feeling better than when i walked in. Sorry if anyone had a bad experience here but all i can say is they are not miracle workers just humans like us but their dedication and compassion speaks volumes. Hopefully i don't have to go back but if i do, i feel confident i will get the same great care.Thank you to the ER staff 👍🏾"

"I had an incredible experience Tuesday morning when I needed to be seen. Last Friday at an ophthalmologist appointment, I was found to have high pressure in one of my optic nerves and told I could either have glaucoma, a brain tumor, or nothing. I had a brain MRI scheduled for today, but after my appointment Friday, I had pain in my eye that just kept getting worse and worse, so I wound up in the ER on Tuesday morning. Dr. Patel was the doctor on staff, and he was wonderful. He did a very thorough exam, checked my eye pressure (which was normal), reflexes, and was very reassuring that he did not think I had a brain tumor. He knew how scared and nervous I was at being told this was a possibility, however, and worked with their outpatient MRI center to make sure I could get my MRI done that day and not have to wait any longer. We got the results back very quickly and everything was normal! The nurses on staff were amazing as well. They were on top of everything, made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed, and you could tell they communicate well with the doctor. This was by far the best ER experience I've ever had... FAR better than any experience at Novant! Should I or my family ever need emergency medical care again, we will be returning. Thanks, Dr. Patel and staff!"

"I had a great experience here, the dr wasted no time ordering meds and test that were suitable for my symptoms and took into consideration that it was my second time in the ER within a few days (the other one I went to didn’t do correct testing to detect the problem I was having) Dr. Patel is great!!!!"

"CMC-Huntersville is the perfect place to go during an emergency. There is hardly ever any patients there and the staff is super nice. This place is clean, as it is still fairly new, and being that it's part of the CMC system, I feel they have pretty high standards. They get you in and evaluated really quick. Highly recommended!"
