"I was in there two days ago because I was having trouble breathing... I have never been so terrified in my life and wasn’t sure if I was going to make it or if it was going to get worse . There was a nurse there named Kim and I will never ever forget the compassion, kindness and reassurance she provided me! I really hope you appreciate the heck out of her and the fact that you have such an absolutely amazing person working for you! They really have the opportunity to make a huge difference in people’s lives not just with their health problems but with their fears around it too...and she is the perfect example of that! I wouldn’t have been able to make it through this experience emotionally without her! I was alone and scared and she took the few extra minutes to assure me I was going to be okay and to comfort me. I’m forever grateful for her!"

"It took these doctors over 6 days to write a death certificate. I could not do the funeral. It was very frustrated. I gave them 2 stars because their nursing staff were very considerate and understanding. ☝for nursing staff."

"The doctors at St. Johns are the best! I live in West Hollywood and drive over to St John's because I do not like Cedars-Sinai ER it is terrible! I was in the hospital they are a few years ago and they literally saved my life when I had a reaction to the antibiotic macrobid! My son was born there in 1995 what a beautiful nursery!"

"I visited the St. Johns Providence ER yesterday. Had excellent care fromDr. Jamadhor and his nurse Mark.The doctor thoroughly examined me, did all tests, and covered every possibility of my pain.Thank you so much. I left there knowing what the illness was and how to treat it. God bless."

"I've unfortunately needed to use the ER at St. John's more than I would like to in the past year.It is an inner-city ER so expect to see some pretty out-there people/cases there but the staff is excellent. They move quickly. They will come get blood and urine for testing while you are in the lobby waiting so that your time there is shorter.They are real-world and to-the-point which I truly respect. Nobody wants to be in the ER but when you need to go - it is great to have people that understand that you are in tough situation.I'd like to never be a repeat customer but if I needed them - it is nice to know the nurses and docs at St. Johns are there for me."

"If this is your only option take it. It’s a 50/50 toss up at best whether you will receive competent care or not. I’m a pro dodge baller and it gets serious physically on and off the court with the ladies. The looks come with the game."

"Great patient experience from the nurse Matt in the ER Department! He was very kind and helpful to me when other nurses were treating me rudely and like my life didn't matter. He made me feel like he cared about my health concerns and truly showed empathy when no one else did! Thanks Matt!"

"I have had 2 surgeries at Saint John's. Great staff, starting at admissions. Great care, clean facility, good food. Couldnt have been treated better. If I ever have to be it a hospital again I hope it it here. I have recommended to others and compliment the care I received there."

"I want to thank GOD that through the professionalism and empathy on the part of the doctors and nurses at Providence Saint John's Hospital in Santa Monica, such as Dr. Grace Chang and Dr. Dennis Holmes( my doctors), I received a complete cure of breast cancer. I give glory to GOD for the assemblage of such an excellent care team. Every one involved treated me with the utmost respect and compassion, as this is very important to a patient's positive mental status, which enables healing. "OMG! I cannot believe anyone Gave them ONE STAR! ARE U KIDDING ME??? 1ST CLASS! Food is awesome, staff is highly capable n qualified, they work together n help each other out. The ER runs like a well oiled machine, n u are in, tested for stuff, n taken to a room quick like! Docs are excellent n VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. Did I mention the food? Like a great restaurant! I was born here 60 yrs ago! They were great when the nuns were there, n they are great now!"

Every test, every check-in performed was executed with great care, following the strictest safety guidelines.Dr. Robert McKenna and his brilliant team saved my life! I can’t say enough about their expertise accompanied by genuine care and concern. I recommend this hospital without reservation!"

"I just want to thank the ER staff here at Saint John's. I was ill for days and was becoming very concerned for my health. Within hours the staff had diagnosed the issue and applied remedies that instantly began my healing.
