"I could have given a 5 star review a few years ago after my first visit to this ER for my son. Now after 3 trips for him, and 4 for myself - I wish I could give 10.Every visit I have ever had here (even the two times when there was a wait of over an hour), every staff member from the front receptionist, phlebotomist, nurses, and doctors have gone above and beyond To care for me, my family, and I also observed them caring for so many others with kindness (even as some patients were being impatient and unkind).I was never meant to feel that I was a burden even though on a couple of occasions with my son I even stated that maybe I was overreacting - I have always been reassured and had all of my concerns taken seriously.I wish I knew the names of the nurses and doctors that helped me - but I remember their faces. Even when it’s busy, they work diligently to get blood work going, get tests done, etc. whatever they can to speed up the process of getting us care and feeling better.I’m so grateful for Fremont Kaiser ER staff, and it’s such a sense of relief to know they are just right down the road from me. 10/10 recommend"

"I'm basing my review on my grandmother's visit to the ER this past weekend. The facility was clean and seems to be efficient in terms of work flow. From security to the receptionist, our wait time was minimal and staff here was friendly. Our nurse inside the ER was patient and understanding. This goes a long way for an elderly. So a big thanks to her for making her visit pleasant. She was helpful and detailed, from blood draw to bathroom visits. The rest of the staff was also super friendly like others have mentioned. The only downside is the ER is tight quarters and not much privacy. It's ok though because staff was attentive and that mattered more to us."

"We drove from Santa Rosa to Fremont (some 80 miles) so my brother could get an MRI in an open machine (non claustrophobic causing). Mind you he has been unable to walk hardly to begin with for months now so why would they ask someone in his condition to travel that distance is one question. Then they moved his appt. up an hour from 2 to 1 which was great since we got there at one. Then we go into a small waiting room and he doesn't get called til 230! Then they get him ready and put a thing on him that he he couldn't move his head, and they tried to put a mask on that covered his whole face!!! Well he never made it into the machine. We were outta there! Get a clue Kaiser. When someone is just about immobile you might want to be a little accommodating. So glad I don't have Kaiser."
