"They saved my life when I was brought here in an ambulance because I got stabbed 54 times with a kitchen knife by my twin brother and they saved my life. I've also been here for other reasons like a cut artery on my hand from glass that they stitched up."

"I only gave stars because of the care team. I waited 2.5 hours to be seen for an asthma attack. A tight chest and shortness of breath. I literally had to advocate for myself multiple times to get care. The waiting room staff, with the exception of 1-2 people, are very rude, inconsiderate and not empathetic at all. I witnessed people talked to very unprofessionally, a lady passed out from dehydration in the waiting room and they did nothing. They seemed to prioritize by race over need and it was absolutely insane. If they change the staff in front, this might be a decent hospital."

"I don't understand the negative reviews. Maybe it's self entitlement syndrome run amuck . UCLA ER saved my life! Period. Bottom Line!! And with their help/because of their fantastic follow-up program I've transferred all of my care/specialists to UCLA Health. There's a reason why they are ranked #1 in CaliFOREIGNia. If you are critically ill (as I was) it is with great confidence that I can highly recommend the UCLA Emergency Room. For your benefit; Don't buy into the negative reviews."

"One of the leading medical schools in all of America and number one in Los Angeles. It's a great state facility to help service the residents of the area. As well as a training school for the mini intelligence students at UCLA"

"Our experience with Danielle Pelletier, RN has been fantastic! We really appreciated the care she provided us with. She was able to understand our needs when we felt ignored by the other providers in the ED."

"I am currently in the emergency overflow rooms and the only thing I’ve heard all day is how much these nurses hate their job! The complain about pay, hours, management and so much more. I have no faith in them taking care of me since they seem to have no loyalties to this hospital. It’s really unsettling how loud they talk about how much they hate the place they work. The dialysis nurses are absolutely amazing but the er nurses are dreadful."

"4 stars for the Volunteers, receptionist, nurses we’re helpful.0 star for 3 people were by the entrance, later I found out they were parking attendant/valets, I drove in my emergency patient, first time here, I got to the Emergency entrance, and they were just looking at you, all they care was to move your car."

"Rated #1 Hospital in LA. This place was packed. Like other reviews, many patients were waiting over 2 hours to get treatment, based on severity of their condition. The staff were very friendly and checked me in. Then shortly after saw a nurse in the waiting room to see what I needed. I had a bad cut that needed stitches. Everyone was veryprofessional and did a great job. But they just have a very busy location. (Cedars Sinai nearby is ranked #2 in LA)."

"The staff here is exceptional. I actually delayed coming in because of how dreadful the ER can be, but honestly I wish I had come sooner because I really turned a corner under their care. Everyone is cooperative and at least enthusiastic enough to get you what you need quickly and make the experience as comforting and seamless as possible. We understand it's a high stress and sometimes joyless place to work but damn do these people do a good job pushing through it! Doctors and nurses answered questions in an easy to understand manner and actively listened to every one of my concerns. I especially want to thank Dr. Bailey. You're positive attitude and calm presence really eased my anxiety in the middle of an extremely uncomfortable illness. Thank you all!"

"Best emergency department in the city. Say all you want about Cedars, which is great and has great docs (Scott Braunstein, Sam Torbati, Brian Jeffords Rachel Pearl etc) and great Hospital the culture at UCLA is friendlier , more compassionate, operates with a higher index of suspicion, and is an entirely different experience. Only place I want to be taken is Ronald Reagan UCLA. Always a good experience."
